Hustle, Auto-pilot, or shoot it down?
Let me just say this out loud - we fail often than we’d like. We have acknowledged this and hedge our bets accordingly.
We hustle when we see significantly growing demand and strong $ value tied to the effort required.
We put products on auto-pilot when it show slow but steady growth and is self-sufficient in it’s growth. ** With exception of someone wanting to buy it out and grow into a bigger business.
We shoot ideas down when there are hardly enough signals to justify the effort it will take to run and maintain.
Often, there are products that are hard to put in either category - but mostly we stick to these three model to democratise product decisions.
